| Found poem of lines from guess which musical? Yes, Les Miserables.... | |||
Found Poem of lines/phrases from Les Miserables...hopefully I'll have time to do more from other musicals. I would like to credit some people, since I am not the total "genius" behind this: Les Mis was written by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michael Schonberg, based on the novel by Victor Hugo, with the actual lyrics written by Herbert Kretzmer. The official website for the SHOW can be found at http://www.lesmis.com/musical/ Now on to the poetry! In my life... I used to dream...[of] Stars in multitudes. [With them]...a castle on a cloud [Where]...a little fall of rain could hardly hurt me.... There's a pain goes on and on [And]...there is a duty I'm sworn to do And only the harvest moon shines down. God on high, hear my prayer There's one less day to be living, Shall...[my]...sins be forgiven? ...every day I'm learning [That]...every man will be a king. [Yes]...I dreamed a dream in days gone by, On my own [That we had]...faith in [our]...selves, [So]...at the shrine of friendship neber say die, let the wine of friendship never run dry.... Do you hear the people sing? Tweet
