A story of how it was in the beginning and then maybe you can guess as to how it ended

I have this feeling 

That nothing is the same 

My heart they keep stealing 

I'm starting to feel the shame 

It was then, 

I said I love you 

It is now, 

I don't know what to do 

I thought I was finished with wanting others 

Then someone came into my life 

So, now should I even bother 

It's like my heart was struck with a knife 

It was then, 

I thought I knew me 

It is now, 

I'm not sure what to see
