|This is a poem I wrote many years ago. The women that inspired me to write it was not whom I thought she was. I still feel the women of the poem is still out there, waiting to be discovered.|
I Thank The Lord; For Being so Giving; By Letting Her Find Me; When I wasn't Seeking. Beautiful and Sweet; Is What I See; Honesty and Kindness; Is What I Received. Poetry and Singing; Is What She Loves; Caring for Her Son and Family; Is What She Does. Her Interest in Me; Lifted My Gloom; Her Smile is Soft; As a Rose at Full Bloom. I Find Myself Thinking; Of Her Day and Night; My Heart and Soul; Have Become Very Light. I Hope and Pray; When I am Ninety; We are Still Together; And Very Happy! Boy, I am Glad; The Lord Saw Fit; To Bless this Mortal; With Such a Heavenly Gift! Tweet
