Please don't let the rhyming pentameter detract from the seriousness of the poem. About hate.

Hate by Tung 

Show me a man, And I will unveil his hate. 

No man is free of bigotry, No love completely pure, Nonsense is
equality, Humanity hath no cure. 

Nature is discriminate, Against all whom dare, To live, to
differentiate, From race to wear. 

The past restricts the future, Our fears enforce conformity, In a world
of vast cultures, Whose dream is final equity. 

Lives denied dignity, Humans denounced (as) errors, Love becomes
iniquity, Lost within prayers. 

Who will speak of truth, And justice beyond status, Who will see the
sooth, Victim of intolerance? 

‘Deviants, Abominations,’ ‘Plagues upon society,’ ‘Pedophiles,
Degradations,’ ‘Ignorance of deities.’ 

Those sinister will prey, Upon the fears of difference, Slurs justified
as they, Selfishly twist dogma for buttress. 

But not a reason yet exists, To validate such hate, Yet people will
persist, In this endless debate. 

How many parents will awake, To find their teen self-murdered? How many
years will it take, Before the youth is heard? 

Tell me, how many more ‘upright’ souls Shall witness their child kill,
How many McKinneys will lose control To invade another’s will? 

Lives will be lost to violence, Hatred consumes views, The loss of
common sense, Thrown before the pews. 

I cannot change the psyche, Of a world of prejudice, I admit my fallacy,
For I am a hypocrite. 

I do nothing but spew words, What difference can I cause? But if a
single person’s heard And one mind takes the time to pause, Perhaps 
there’s hope after all.
