anorexic spring day sit in the spring air of a new fallen April rain smoke a cigarette and think of happy times sit in April air of impending summer and think of all that's to come as the cigarette burns away the fresh day into a fresh night chip the day away like paint on a porch in need of repair wasting away anorexic days of little motion fresh air but stagnant moments in time as a pack a day burns the year away into a summer when you're seventy-four and you look for the time in the cushions of your couch and only find loose change Tweet
