hmmmm...it is what it is and that's all that it is

I'm plotting my equations

And charting my graphs

The shortest distance between

Us is a streaight line, but

Factor in fear and you get the

The dreaded parabola

I'm calculating your slope and

My intercept, plus the arc

Of my descent

I'm adding all your angles

And I'm not sure whether you're

Acute, right, or obtuse...

If you put my rise over my run,

If you try to spell me

Out Algebraicaly, formulaicaly,

Occasionally equationally, you're

Going to get nothing but

A double negative.

So why don't we add up

So we can multiply

You and I can sit around

And solve each other's

Square roots all day and

Explore our additions all night.

I can ponder your infinite pi

And not have to round you

Off to the nearest decimal,

Instead, in my mind's eye,

I can contemplate your dimensions

And plug you into my own equation.
