Artoo's Encounter, Chapter Three 

Scene in the Dagobah clearing near the Millennium Falcon. As Leia
practices using a light saber against the remote attacker from the 
Millennium Falcon lounge, Yoda begins flinging small pebbles at her 
with the Force. 

"Yes yes, let the force flow, let it both guide your blade and be guided
by your will." Yoda instructs. 

Faster and faster the pebbles fly, Leia's blade moves like a living
curtain repelling them all. Finally after 15 minutes of constant motion 
Leia reaches out with the Force and resets the remote to fire upon the 
pebbles. Its tiny barrage allows enough respite for her to take a deep 
breath and concentrate her energies. Suddenly the pebbles in mid air 
stop dead and hover. Leia is breathing hard but is now surrounded by a 
wall of hovering pebbles that act as a sheild. The attack stops. 

"Yes patient are you, in the Force strong are you, serve you well it
has." Yoda compliments her. 

"Master Yoda, you stress calm and peace and patience, and I can see how
these things sill wear down an opponent over time. But I am troubled by 
strange dreams and I fear the temptations of the Dark Side." 

"Anger, Hate, Greed, Fear, all these the Dark Side draws upon for quick
strength. Darth Sideous, the Emperor knows them all well, but he also 
knows Patience.   Slowly Slowly he built the foundation for his rise to 
Emperor, and it was only after the Death Star was complete that he 
dissolved the Senate. If he succeeds in destroying the Rebellion and 
the last of the Jedi he will be able to rule unopposed. Only a Jedi can 
oppose the Sith with any hope of winning. You have come far in two 
weeks, now you need to rest and meditate, contemplate your inner being 
and find hope and strength in what is good and right." 

"Yes master Yoda." Climbing the ramp into the Falcon Leia was greeted by
a cheery Han Solo. 

"Hiya princess, that was amazing! I've seen Luke practicing against the
remote often enough to know you are better than he is!" 

"Its simply a matter of training Han, Luke only had a few hours of
formal training before Obi-Wan was killed. Be fair, for the last two 
weeks I have been training 16 hours a day, Luke has spent years 
training against the Remote and is the best pilot in the Alliance." 

"Well I think I could give him a run for the title of best pilot, but I
grant you the kid is good, really good!" 

"Your piloting us here through the Asteroid field makes me wonder just
how Force sensitive you are Han." 

"Don't start that again Leia. I told Luke and I'm telling you, I'm not
going to surrender myself to the Force and let it control my actions!" 

"Alright Han. I'm going to meditate for a while, I'll grab something to
eat after I am done." 

"OK sweetheart, I just wish we were finished with these repairs. Even I
am starting to think I should invest in an R2 unit." 

"Why Han Solo I do believe that's the nicest thing I've ever heard you
say about a droid!" 

"Ask me about Bollux some time, I've been thinking about looking him up,
haven't been to Dellalt in years, I hear its changed quite a bit." 

"Dellalt hmmm" Leia mumbled as she made her way off to Meditate in
private. 

Meanwhile in an Asteroid field inside the Devolin system near the
Federation/Romulan border, 0700 hours ship time. "There she is Captain 
Shelby, the sensor readings are Identical to those taken by the 
Enterprise two years ago. Pegasus is inside this asteroid." Captain 
McDonnell said.
