I Walk Alone (standard:poetry, 81 words)
Author: Zoe Ann StuartAdded: Mar 04 2003Views/Reads: 2928/0Story vote: 0.00 (0 votes)
A poem I wrote seven years ago about my father.

I walk alone in the sand

Thinking of that lost and lonely man

I once knew, made friends with and gave my love to

I walk alone...

Two ships in crashing waves

I hold his hand at grandpa's grave

We cry together for a man lost forever

I walk alone...

We part our ways, we yell and scream

No more are we friends, No more do we love

No more do we cry, No more is he Daddy

I walk alone...
