shattered is the life that i once knew 

here is the feeling of impending doom. 

ive become well aquanted with these feelings, 

theres no need to worry 

lifes one big long game to you, 

your always in a hurry. 

my life, it seems, meant nothing to you. 

gone from it in a moment to soon. 

havent you ever listend to that voice inside your head? 

you, the one constant in my life, 

you were there when my father left us, 

you were there, always. 

i understand you wanted a chance. 

i understand you needed some space. 

but life is to slow for you, you needed it now. 

to hell with the rest of us, right? 

you write every now and then to tell us you love us. 

you are never comeing back, i know that now. 

you have someone else to call you mommy. 

life is hard. life is fast. 

i always thought, that someday you would leave him, 

but i never thought you would leave us too. 

that pain inside me, i will never forget. 

life is to precious to waste. 

cant it be how it was before, im sure. 

thats what everyone thinks i would be asking, 

but i wouldnt, even if you did come back. 

you are gone. 

could it be that you always knew, 

the life you lead is a testiment to the kind of person you are. 

so what are you?
