Just my wish for my friends in the New Year.

My Wish for You 

~ 

May your light shine 

clear and bright. 

Might your heart never know 

the darkness of night. 

May happiness fill 

your soul. 

Might love never grow 

old. 

~ 

Color your world with 

beauty and grace. 

Paint it with 

emotion to win the race. 

Decorate your heart with 

fondness and devotion. 

Dye it blue like 

the ocean. 

~ 

Let love 

reign. 

Allow it to stream 

in every vein. 

Permit it to be 

your calm. 

Enable it's presence to be 

your balm. 

~ 

This is a new year. 

We should start it off right. 

Hold on to those dear. 

Throw away the myth of a shining knight. 

~ 

Be who you are. 

Don't be discouraged. 

Let go of past's baggage car. 

Be the lion, full of courage.
