Catch My Rain With Your Lips 

~ 

Late at night, 

when only dark is seen, 

water falls from the sky 

to liberate me. 

~ 

Another storm blows in 

and rocks the gentle beach. 

Why are you always 

just out of my reach? 

~ 

Drift wood scatters 

to and fro. 

Seashells get lost. 

Crabs don't know which way to go. 

~ 

The Earth becomes displaced 

by the Heavens above. 

Before the rain falls 

An angel withdraws his love.
