Finding the Charmed Circle 

~ 

Two hearts tingle, 

two souls touch, 

two lives mingle. 

Is this love? 

Hear their soul mate's jingle? 

Only time will tell 

what's written on the shingle. 

~ 

An intense woman wears 

blinders of denial. 

Hidden her heart 

since walking down the aisle. 

Living life 

proved no trial. 

Destroyed love 

and broke the vial. 

~ 

Two hearts long, 

two souls cope, 

two lives wish. 

Romance is in the scope. 

It's taboo. 

There's little hope. 

~ 

A patient man, 

with a heart that's bruised, 

looks for friendship 

and won't get refused. 

Doesn't want love, 

too many times, has been used. 

Hidden behind walls of concrete, 

to protect from being abused.
