Trust In His Arms In the days of darkness there's a light only I can see. It's a beautiful, bright beacon. Full of promise, and burns just for me. I step toward it. The old fears grip me tight. Make-up slips and slides revealing the true beauty from within. Hidden things can't hide when he can see them coming from a mile away. Branches are leafless the tops are bare. No place to run, no where to hide. What you think is refuge is simply thin air. ~ To open myself up exposes everything. I have to let go of the abuse, turn loose of the pain. Can't hide behind self condemnation. Can't flee from the ideas of failure. What would I become? Click here to read the rest of this story (35 more lines)
