|Just my experience thus far with my boyfriend being in boot camp|
It's the life I've come to live, I've got nothing else to give. I just sit here, and wait, I think of all that we had, and all that will come. You see sand pits, and more, I see an empty door, where you once stood. You see DI's, and other recruits, I see your worried mother, and my own concerned thoughts. You learn how to march, as I try to learn to mend my broken heart. You learn how to be a team, and strive for the honor to be one of the few. The Proud. A feat not many can complete. You make the journey to be a Marine, and I ride on angels wings. Come back soon My Marine. We may be a little different than before, You may have boots, and I'll have wings, but there's one thing you have, and that's my heart. <3 Tweet
