After loosing the battle on Hoth Luke and Artoo Detoo fly into a mysterious wormhole and appear far far from where they planned on going.

"Yes I'm sure Artoo, these people are our best hope for finding our way
home, unless you want to wander around aimlessly for the next 20 years 
we have to do as they require." 

"Spacedock we are in position, now what?" 

"Now we tractor you into a berth and welcome you aboard." 

Aboard spacedock frantic preparations had been going on from the time
the X-Wing had emerged from Hyperspace near the orbit of Mars. 

"You're sure he didn't arrive on a cloaked vessel and just chose this
small ship to greet us?" 

"Positive Mr. President, we detected a ripple on long range sensors for
almost 20 seconds approaching at extremely high velocity, then the echo 
slowed and this vessel appeared at those precise coordinates. The 
vessel then accelerated from relative rest to .85 impulse and continued 
towards Earth." 

"Then we have a delicate First contact situation Admiral Gingerbread,
this race obviously has technology superior to our own, technology that 
would be indispensable for the Dominion war." 

"I'm well aware of that Mr. President, now that his shields have been
lowered we are conducting intense scans of his vessel, mapping it in as 
much detail as possible.   So far we have determined that this one man 
shuttle resembles a WW III fighter aircraft in function, it is made of 
extremely durable material, heavily engined, shielded and armed." 

"How much damage do you estimate this craft could do in combat Admiral?"


"Alone Mr. President this craft could overmatch a half dozen armed
shuttle pods, and probably fight a Runabout on an equal basis." 

"Impressive for a one man craft." 

"Admiral Gingerbread, the Pilot is ready to disembark, he states that he
is Commander Luke Skywalker." 

"Acknowledged, I will be right there." 

"Mr. President I must go, I will keep you appraised of developments." 

"See that you do Admiral, I have every confidence in your abilities in
this regard."
