A true story, take the time to read.

You'll never know how long someone will be on this earth, you'll never
know how long you have to love someone. It's like one second everything
is fine..then the next you find out someone you really love is going to
die. Not just die but suffer. This is the story of someone I love more
than life it's self. This is a short story of how my grandma sufferd.
My grandma was a wonderful lady, she never judged someone on the way
they look but on their heart. She worked with the mentally challenged
for as long as I could remember. She treated those kids as if they were
her own. She died of leukemia after suffering of it for three long and
painful years. It was so hard to go and see her in the Hospital. When
you looked into her eyes all you could see was pain, like they were
scrwamin out to someone to help her, to take away her pain. God if only
I could take her pain away. My grandma was in and out of the Hospital
off and on, which gave us all this false feeling that she would be ok,
when the truth was we knew she would never get better, NO matter how
hard we prayed. Her last few months were very hard. She couldn't eat or
drink. Her face was just so white, just looked as if she was dead. One
day in the summer I went to see her, I walked over to give her a hug
but it hurt her to much to hug. I knew she was going to die that day,
do I ever wish i was wrong but I was right. Life was HELL after that
day, the day she died. Are family was never the same. It just fell
apart, everyone always fights now. Sometimes I wish she could of fought
harder but then I realize that she put up a HECK OF A FIGHT and it was
not worth all the pain.

~DEATH~

AS I WALKED IN THE ROOM,

I WANTED TO CRY,

FOR I KNEW YOU WOULD DIE.

YOUR EYES WERE DULL,

YOUR FACE SO WHITE,

YOUR LIPS NO COLOR,

YOUR SMILE A FROWN.

THEN I WATCHED YOU AS YOU STARTED TO SHAKE, WITH FEAR IN YOUR EYES. I
WALKED OUT OF THE ROOM WITH TEARS IN MINE. I STARTED TO CRY, I KNEW AT
THAT MOMENT, I WAS SAYING GOOD-BYE.
